CHENNAI: The Cyber Society of India has asked the Centre to give importance to information and communication systems security.

Forum chairman R. Ramamurthy said that the recent meeting of Chief Ministers and the Prime Minister discussed only physical security-related issues and not computer security. “In these days of cyber terrorism, computer has been noticed as a strong abetting tool in crime by terrorists and anti-nationals,” he said.

He said the society and non-governmental organisations dealing in such cases could give necessary inputs to the Government.
