Burnt in effigy
They said it would ruin the lives of millions of small traders and vendors.

Despite the presence of a large posse of police, the protesters managed to burn an effigy in front of the shop.
P. Ramamurthy, district president of DYFI, warned that the Reliance Fresh should withdraw from the retail business otherwise they would create a situation by mobilising thousands of youth and small traders where in the Reliance Fresh could not run the business.
