CHENNAI: The Hindu Munnani will announce its decision regarding the agitation against the Sethusamudram Canal project at the state conference to be held on July 22 in Madurai.

Addressing a press conference on Monday, Hindu Munnani founder-president Rama Gopalan said: “We will record our protest against the execution of the project, which would damage the ‘Ramar Palam’, in a democratic and legal manner.” He said public opinion must be sought on the need of the project.
