Candidates protest

About 1,000 outstation candidates of a bank examination staged a demonstration on Sunday after they were informed that the examination was postponed due to a question paper leak in Kolkata. Police said the candidates had come to appear for the examination scheduled by a public sector bank.

Since the information about the postponement did not reach many candidates, they resorted to a demonstration. After the police pacified them, they dispersed.
