CHENNAI: Twentyfour workers of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam were arrested on Friday when they tried to block road.

The police said the arrested party workers condemned a Tamil periodical, which had carried an interview of Union Minister E.V.K.S Elangovan who made some remarks about AIADMK general secretary Jayalalithaa.

They also burnt copies of the periodical, the police said. DCP T.Nagar S. Bhaskaran said the arrested would be remanded to judicial custody.
