Sarath Kumar and Jyotika in "Pachaikili Muthusaram"

Priority to films, says actor Sarath Kumar "For the first time, I am doing a Malayalam movie with Mammootty''

Actor Sarath Kumar is jubilant. He has seven films to complete and it would clearly keep him busy till the end of 2008.

The first in line for release is `Pachaikili Muthucharam', directed by Gautham Menon. Sarath Kumar is working with director Menon and actor Jyotika for the first time.

"In the film, I do not wear any make-up as my character is really down-to-earth. I play a medical sales representative in the film. Milind Soman, who is also in the film, has worked for the first time in a Tamil film ... he has done a neat job," he says.

What about his political ambitions? Sarath is very clear. He will now concentrate only on his films.

"I have now started to concentrate more on films and public service. After this, I am doing "Vaideeswarn", a film for Kanakarathna Movies. Then another for R.S.K. Pictures, titled "1997", directed by G.N. Dinesha Kumar. After "Dasavatharam", K.S. Ravi kumar is directing a movie for Radaan in which I play the lead role''.

"Radaan is planning another movie with Gautham Menon in which I am the hero. I am also planning one for Super Good films and we are hearing a story from director Vincent Selva. For the first time, I am doing a Malayalam movie with Mammootty. The script is written by popular writer M.T. Vasudevan Nair and directed by Hariharan. My kitty is full and ... so, I do not think I have the time for politics now," he says.
