CHENNAI: This weekend here, `Saarang 2007' continued from where it left off on Day 1 with its assortment of events and workshops for the youth.

The new events, `Whose Line is it Anyway' and `Multilingual Laughter Challenge', proved to be a major hit with the participants. The usual favourites like Just A Minute and the Main Quiz semi-finals also lived up to their usual standards of excellence.

Madras Players' play, `Five Point Someone', was held to an overwhelming audience at the IC&SR auditorium. Parallel to the play, the main show for the night, Choreo Nite, also took off on time at the Open Air Theater on Saturday. Twenty-five teams registered for the mega event.

There was also a guest performance by `Flyers', a professional dance troupe, who enthralled the crowd with their well-rehearsed moves.

And on Monday night, it was the rock show featuring Junkyard Groove and Merzhin to pump up the adrenalin at the IIT.
