CHENNAI: The BSNL and the Unified Telecom Ltd have launched a multi-modal mobile solution to converge advertiser intent and subscriber interest.

The model of ‘permission-based mobile marketing’ will allow registered users to determine the category of commercials they want to view such as shopping discounts or events. The facility will also help brands to reach out to specific audiences over a response path on the toll-free short code 51235, a BSNL press note stated.
