KRISHNAGIRI: T. Senguttuvan, MLA, was elected Krishnagiri district secretary of the DMK on Monday.

This is the second time he is holding the post. When Krishnagiri was bifurcated from Dharmapuri, he was nominated as district secretary by the party high command. Mr. Senguttuvan was elected as Dharmapuri (North) district secretary and then elected as Undivided Dharmapuri District Secretary before his nomination as Krishnagiri district secretary. Other office-bearers are presidium president - P.S.V. Venkatesan; deputy secretary (general) – T.A. Naraju; deputy secretary (Adi Dravidar) - A.N. Raja; and deputy secretary (Women) – A. Dhanalaxmi.
