Coimbatore: A barn owl with injuries was handed over to the Coimbatore Corporation Zoo by councillor of Ward Number 71, P. Rajkumar of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. Dr. S. Thirukkumaran, Director of the Corporation Zoo said that the owl would have sustained a minor injury probably in transit and should have been hit by a moving objectowing to poor eye sight during the day. The injured owl is being treated and after two days it would be let into the forest, he said.
