Chennai: Students of Madras School of Social Work recently organised free screening for HIV/AIDS for the residents of a slum in M.K. Radha Nagar, Teynampet.

Mobile counselling

The camp was held in association with Tamil Nadu State AIDS Control Society and tests were conducted in a mobile counselling and testing unit.

Seven men and 38 women were tested and none were found to be HIV positive. Students performed a street play on HIV/AIDS, according to a press release.
