From Seethaikurichi, they submit petition to Collector

TIRUNELVELI: Students of Seethaikurichi submitted a petition to Collector G. Prakash during the weekly grievances day meeting held on Monday seeking regular bus service to their village.

The petitioner students said the bus being operated between Tirunelveli Town and Therkkupatti village should be extended to Seethaikurichi. The students could not board the bus crowded by passengers from Therkkupatti, Kurichikulam, Yettaankulam and Seethaikurichi.

“Since we cannot enter this only bus being operated to this area at 8.15 a.m., we cannot go to the school and are forced to go home on most of the days. Hence, the officials concerned to should initiate steps to operate adequate bus services via our village considering the welfare of the students,” the students said.
