TIRUCHI: The Training and Rehabilitation of Underprivileged members of Society, a Tiruchi-based charity organisation will be conducting an art exhibition from Tuesday to mark its anniversary celebrations and the World Mental Health Day.

The five-day gallery will exhibit paintings that were created at the art camp attended by students of arts and crafts institutes from Chennai, Kumbakonam, Puducherry, Hyderabad and Bangalore. The exhibition will feature theme-based posters and paintings on mental health awareness.

Social awareness programmes will be conducted every evening to discuss the issues related to mental health. Seminars about the stigma attached to mental illness will also be held. There will also be interactions between the students and the public on contemporary arts. The TRUST will also conduct an awareness rally on Tuesday with a participation of over 500 students from various colleges.
