TIRUCHI: The sanctum sanctorum at the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple in Srirangam here will be open for public darshan from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and from 6.45 p.m. to 9 p.m. on January 1.
The arrangement is in the wake of the 'Vaikunda Ekadasi' mahotsavam currently in progress, a press release from B. Sivakumar, Joint Commissioner, and Executive Officer of the temple, said.
Fuse call centre to be shifted
The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board fuse call centre functioning on Ramasamy Reddiar Road at Srirangam will be shifted to the TNEB sub-station on Melur Road at Srirangam with effect from January 2.
A press release from the TNEB, Executive Engineer (Operation and Maintenance), Srirangam, C. Ponnusamy, said here today that the new telephone number of the fuse call centre was 2431272.
