Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation Limited has warned cable operators, who take signal from it and telecast various channels, of stern action if they collect more than Rs. 70 permitted by the government.

A release issued here by P.R.Sridharan, deputy manager of the corporation, said that cable operators should collect Rs. 70 per month from viewers. Nearly 90 to 100 channels are provided by the corporation .

People are advised to contact the deputy manager on 04362-231754 if they come across any operator demanding more than the stipulated fee .

The cable operators have been instructed to provide services to those who pay online or through demand draft.
