Krishnagiri: Applications are invited from candidates who have failed in three or less subjects in Plus Two examinations held before March 2006 under the old syllabus, to reappear for the special examinations in June and July 2006.
This will be the last opportunity to candidates who have failed under the old syllabus, and will have to apply for each subject they want to appear.
Applications for supplementary examinations are available at the office of the Regional Deputy Director of Government Examinations, Coimbatore from April 21 to May 5. A release said that Rs. 85 for one subject, Rs. 135 for two subjects and Rs. 185 for three subjects should be remitted as examination fees.
Private candidates could remit the fees at Government treasuries through challan.
The filled in application should be sent along with copies of mark sheets and photographs attested by the school headmasters. It should be sent to the Additional Secretary, Higher Secondary, Director of Government Examinations, Chennai, through registered post on or before May 5.
Sufficient time would be given to candidates who appeared for the March 2006 examinations to apply for the supplementary examinations after the publication of results.
The timetable for the supplementary examinations would be released shortly.
