The Kongunadu Matricu lation Higher Secondary School, Velagoundampatty, Namakkal district, celebrated its 26th annual day. Superintendent of Police A. Pari, participating in the celebrations, delivered the special address and distributed prizes to the winners of various events. Navarasam Educational Institutions secretary C. Kumarasamy spoke. Students performed cultural programmes. Principal S. Premdhas read the annual report.

Sri Sarada Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Salem district, celebrated its 15th annual day. Professor from Annamalai University G. Sudha, participating in the celebrations, appreciated the students for their achievements in the academic and extra curricular activities. She also distributed prizes to the winners of various competitions and school toppers.

School Correspondent K.K. Rajagopalan presided. Principal D. Nalayini read the annual report. Cultural programmes marked the celebrations.

CS Academy, Erode, celebrated its annual day on January 27 and 28. The students presented a cultural programme on the theme “India”. Collector R. Sudalaikannan and SKM Mailaenandhan of SKM Group of Companies were the chief guests.

Celebrations

The PSF Matriculation School, Vadugappatty, Salem district, celebrated the Republic Day and the Sports Day. Shevaroys Group of Companies Executive Director N. Bhaskara Chakkera participated in the celebrations and unfurled the tri-colour. He also accepted the guard of honour before inaugurating the sporting events. A large number of students participated in the sports events.

Correspondent R. Jayasheelan distributed prizes to the winners. Cultural programmes were also held.

Award

Akash Niruban and Tharana Maran were presented with the Best Outgoing Student award at the Prize Nite event held at Golden Gates Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Salem.

Bhuvaneshwari and Pricilla bagged the Lady of Golden Gates award. The Gentleman of Golden Gates award went to Achuth. The Golden Student Award was presented to Dineshkumar, Mithilesh, Sambaga, Abhinaya and Varun Ramgopal.

The Rathina Prabha award was presented to Suraj and Keshav Dhugar.

Gold and silver medals and certificates were presented to the students who excelled in academic activities. Cluny MHSS Principal Norah delivered special address. School Correspondent Meena Sethu presided. Principal Kanchana spoke.

Speech Day

The 36th annual Speech Day of the Breeks All India Secondary School was

held in Udhagamandalam.

Participating as the Chief Guest, the Commandant, Madras Regimental Centre, Brigadier S.S.Jadhav exhorted the students to aim high and convert their dreams into reality.
