DINDIGUL: Three hundred cadres of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam staged a demonstration here on Monday accusing the State Government of tapping telephones of top government officials. They termed the act as a murder of democracy.
The State government had called for a judicial enquiry in connection with alleged overhearing and recording of atelephonic conversation between Chief Secretary L.K. Tripathy and an Additional Director-General of Police.
Over 700 AIADMK cadres took part in a protest in Theni.
