CHENNAI: Customs officials at the Chennai airport seized six abandoned baggage, which contained iPods, memory cards, RAMs, and cameras, besides three kilograms of chemical powder. The seized items were valued at Rs. 1 crore.

An official communication said after the Customs authorities on suspicion detained a person for interrogation, three persons abandoned their baggage and left the airport. With the tags found in the bags, the Customs officials were trying to trace the owners of the bags for further investigation, the release added. — Special Correspondent
