The district unit of Aam Aadmi Party has asked voters in the constituency to list out the problems in their area, so that it can be included in the Salem-specific manifesto that is to be released on April 10.

“Survey is being done to know area-specific problems to find out practical solutions. We will involve people in decision making,” he added. He said that scientific approach to solid waste management would be carried out for long-term solution.
There are 5.2 lakh electors in the age group of 18 to 35 and the party would focus more on them during the campaign period, he said.
“A team consisting of 60 to 80 members will campaign in each area,” he added. The current membership of the party stands between 7,000 and 10,000.
