It will help reduce the delay in getting information, says SP

ERODE: All the 44 police stations and six of the seven Deputy Superintendent's offices have been computerised, said the Superintendent of Police, P. Nagarajan, on Friday.

Proper training had been given for computer operators, he told reporters here.Mr. Nagarajan said from now on the computer operator will forward case details and Daily Situation Reports to the District Police office and after compiling them, would be presented to the SP, DIG and IG. This will help reduce the delay in passing on information.

The Kangeyam Deputy Superintendent of Police' office would soon be computerised.
