Three Sri Lankan nationals who were undergoing a training programme in tea plantation management at the Kothari Agricultural Management Centre (KAMC) in Coonoor left for Bangalore early on Thursday. Police sources said they belonged to a tea industry and were part of an eight-member group including officials from Nigeria and Myanmar. In view of protests by groups against the Sri Lankan authorities, the management of the centre had decided to relieve the Sri Lankan trainees before the completion of the course. — Special Correspondent
