Even as the public are yet to come out of the shock caused by the ghastly murder of the Principal of Infant Jesus College of Engineering , in a fresh case, three persons – including two students of Bishop Caldwell College, Tuticorin – were held on a charge of threatening the Principal of the college, T. Sibi Chellaiah (50).

G. Sandhana Mariappan (20), a second year B.Sc (IT) student, was allegedly found guilty of eve-teasing one of his classmates 10 days ago.

During an inquiry Mariappan and his college mate C. Vignesh (21), along with their R. Mariavalan (39) presented themselves before the team. It was found that the trio had consumed liquor. They also allegedly threatened the Principal of dire consequences.
