10 Pudukottai students to attend State-level summer camp

Ten students from the district, who underwent summer training offered by Jawahar Bal Bhavan, would be sent to the State-level summer coaching camp scheduled to be held at Yercaud from May 20, said R. Gunasekaran, Deputy Director of Arts and Culture, on Wednesday. Delivering the valedictory address at the summer camp at Jawahar Bal Bhavan here, Mr. Gunasekaran said that there was an overwhelming response to the summer camp with children learning the fundamental principles in computer, silambattam, kargattam, and painting. He distributed prizes and certificates to all the trainees. Vijayalakshmi, additional assistant education officer, Karunaiselvi, correspondent, Pari Nursery and Primary School, and Vijay Manickam, headmaster, Municipal Middle School, offered felicitations.

B. Shanthi, project officer, Jawahar Bal Bhavan, was present.
