Ahmedabad: The city crime branch on Tuesday arrested a woman who allegedly used to kidnap minor girls and sell them for money in different parts of the country, an official release said.

Jayvanti alias Khema Gangavani, who hails from Pimpri in Pune, Maharashtra was caught while striking a deal on two girls, from the Indira circle in Asarwa area of the city, it said.

The two girls, who were rescued, told the police that they were enticed by the woman and abducted from the Saibaba temple in Sardarnagar area.
