Patna: Three persons impersonating as officials of the Bihar Vigilance Investigation Bureau were arrested by a special team from their houses here on Wednesday, vigilance sources said.

The sources said that Anand Kishore, son of a junior engineer Dharmadeo Pande, posted at Pakur in Jharkhand, had complained to the bureau office here that one Santosh Kumar Singh impersonating as the DYSP of vigilance sought Rs. 5 lakh from his father threatening that the failure of the payment would lead to a raid and Mr. Pande would be implicated in ‘a case’ of possessing wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income.
