Bhubaneswar: Nalco’s former chairman and managing director (CMD) S.K. Tamotia was sentenced to three years rigorous imprisonment by a special CBI court here in a corruption case. Special CBI Judge Srikant Nayak, while convicting Tamotia onThursday, also slapped a fine of Rs 50,000.

He was booked in a case of accumulation of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income in 1997. - PTI
