CHANDIGARH: Haryana Police Director-General R.S. Dalal on Wednesday reviewed the security arrangements in the State through video-conferencing. He directed the Range Inspectors-General, Superintendents of Police and Commissioners of Gurgaon and Faridabad Police to enhance security.

An official spokesman said Mr. Dalal also asked them to ensure security of all private and public property in their districts. The people should be apprised through the media not to touch any unclaimed article lying anywhere and rather inform the nearest police station or police personnel. Similarly, information about any unknown vehicle or person in their area should be given to the police. He also asked the officers to get CCTV cameras installed in busy markets and parking places to keep an eye on the activities of the people and also ensure issuance of parking tokens.
