JAIPUR: The Sir Syed Education Foundation distributed scholarships to 87 talented students of the Muslim community from 22 districts of Rajasthan here over the weekend with a call to promote vocational and technical education to benefit youngsters.

Foundation chairperson H. A. S Jafri, former Pro-Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University, said the students had been selected on the basis of their academic performance and the financial condition of their parents. The recipients are pursuing secondary to post-graduate courses.
