Nawada: The manager of a rural bank was caught red handed by state vigilance bureau while accepting a bribe of Rs.2500 at his office at Roh in Bihar’s Nawada district on Tuesday, vigilance sources said.

Acting on a tip-off, vigilance sleuths raided the Roh branch of the Madhya Bihar Kshetriya Gramin Bank and trapped its manager Ram Krishna Kumar while taking the bribe from a farmer for issuing a kisan credit card, the sources said. The arrested official was being brought to Patna for production before a special vigilance court.
