JAIPUR: The Rajasthan Assembly got back to business on Thursday afternoon breaking the four-day long impasse over the alleged derogatory remarks made against and by Leader of the Opposition Vasundhara Raje when Chief Minister and Leader of the House Ashok Gehlot volunteered to express regrets on behalf of the entire House. Prior to this the Assembly was adjourned four times amidst noisy scenes. At the end of parleys initiated by Speaker Deependra Singh Shekhawat in his chamber during the day Mr. Gehlot rose in the House to make an appeal to the members to act in the spirit of “forgive and forget” for the sake of welfare of the State and its people.
