JAIPUR: The unseasonal intermittent spells of rains with duststorm in the State in the last three consecutive days have damaged the harvested crops.In the last 24 hours 12 mm rainfall was recorded in Sikar district, followed by 4.6 in Jodhpur and 4.2 in Barmer district respectively, according to met department.
The considerable drop in maximum temperature in entire Rajasthan have brought back chill in the air. The minimum temperature has come down by eight to ten degree Celsius in Jaipur as compared to the last week.
The mercury is expected to remain low in the coming days even during day time, met office department said, adding that the current meteorological analysis suggest that maximum temperature over the plains of northwest India is likely to fall for subsequent two to three days.
The other cities which experienced duststorm were Kota, Bikaner, Pilani, Ajmer, Churu and Jaisalmer. - PTI
