The city police on Tuesday night rescued a physically challenged nine-year-old boy from the Darghabazaar area, who was roaming alone and handed over him to the district child line. The district child line in turn rehabilitated the boy in a nearby orphanage. Police said the deaf and mute boy was roaming in the marketplace without anyone accompanying him. His identity could not be established as the boy was not even able to communicate through sign languages or in writing.
