Students, staff and teachers of Red Cross School for the Blind at Ambapua area of the city celebrated 204{+t}{+h}birth anniversary of Louis Braille on the campus on Friday. A memorial meeting was organised to remember the great soul and his remarkable contribution for the visually impaired. Speakers elaborated how despite a short life, his invention of Braille script has made him immortal. Senior students and teachers spoke on the life and achievements of Louis Braille. Braille calendars for the New Year were distributed among the students.
