The best of brands on display in over 70 stalls
PUDUCHERRY: Shopaholics rejoice. If there is one place which hosts all kinds of lifestyle products under one roof, it is The Hindu Metro Plus Lifestyle Show, to be hosted at Puducherry for the first time, starting Thursday, at Jayaram Thirumana Nilayam.
Over 70 stalls, spread over a sprawling area of 15,000 sq.ft., will showcase the best of brands, covering consumer electronics, computer and information technology products, automobiles, furniture and furnishing, home appliances, arts and handicrafts, beauty and healthcare products, textile and gift items.
The show will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 8.30 p.m. till December 21, at an entry fee of just Rs.10 per person.
The highlights of the show include the display of a 103-inch plasma television, by the event’s main sponsor Panasonic.
Jute Manufacturing Development Council, the co-sponsor of the event, will showcase a wide array of eco-friendly jute products. ARC Aqua Puraa is the water sponsor, while Big FM is the radio partner and iAds & Events the event manager.
Hosted for the first time in Chennai in 2004, The Hindu Metro Plus Lifestyle Show is south India’s largest consumer fair.
With a footfall of over 50,000 visitors a year in each city, it is a retail shopping extravaganza offering a variety of product categories to customers at one venue. After the phenomenal success of seven shows in various south Indian cities earlier this year, the show will certainly live up to expectations here in Puducherry.
