Police on Thursday arrested two persons for allegedly trying to withdraw Rs. 9.21 crore using a forged cheque from a private bank in the State Capital here, a police officer said.

Sachchidanand Kumar and Ravindra Prasad were arrested after the bank officials informed the police about a forged cheque submitted by the two for withdrawing Rs. 9.21 crores, the Patrakar Nagar police station’s Station House Officer (SHO), Sanjeev Kumar, said.
