CUTTACK: The Orissa High Court on Wednesday issued fresh notices to BJD MLA Arabinda Dhali and to the State government asking them to file their counters in response to a petition filed by one Sanjita Dhali, who claims to be the daughter of the MLA. While the MLA had been vehemently denying that the petitioner is his daughter, Sanjita has sought for a DNA test of the former to drive home her claim.

A division bench of the High Court comprising Acting Chief Justice I M Quddusi and Justice Kumari Sanju Panda has directed the MLA to file his counter affidavit within two weeks and has fixed December 7 next for further hearing.
