CHANDIGARH: The Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) would set up a Food Development Centre (FDC) in the State in collaboration with the Manitoba Food Development Centre (MFDC), Province of Manitoba, Canada.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the HSIIDC and Manitoba Food Development Centre in New Delhi on Wednesday in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Deputy Minister Manitoba Agriculture, Food and Rural Initiatives, Province of Manitoba, Canada Barry Todd.

Mr. Hooda said India and Canada had long-standing bilateral relations. He hoped that the new Centre would benefit the farmers and entrepreneurs of Haryana.
