CHANDIGARH: A 22-year-old girl was killed when she fell from the fourth floor restaurant of a shopping mall in Gurgaon in the wee hours on Saturday, with the police registering a murder case on the complaint of the father.

``We have registered a murder case after the father of the girl lodged a complaint with us,'' Gurgaon police chief Hanif Qureshi said.

When asked about reports speculating whether the girl had been pushed off the building or committed suicide, Mr. Qureshi said: ``This is a matter of investigation and we are not ruling out anything at this moment.'' Giving details of the incident, he said the girl was accompanied by a boy and both had food at the restaurant inside the mall.
