Darbhanga: Four headmasters of State-run schools in Bihar’s Darbhanga district were suspended with immediate effect on the charge of committing irregularities in the mid-day meal scheme, District Magistrate Pran Mohan Thakur said.

The action was taken after an official inquiry confirmed the irregularities, he said.

The headmasters, who were suspended, include Gaurishanker Roy (secondary school, Nimaithi), Ganga Mandal (Bakmandal), Arun Kumar Singh (Thathopur) and Shakir Hussain (Jorja), he said.
