CHANDIGARH: A five-member delegation from Finland led by Rauli Sorvinen, Head of Education Cluster, met Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda here on Tuesday to explore the possibilities of setting up a private university in Haryana over an area of 50 to 100 acres of land.

According to an official spokesman, the delegation also proposed to set up wind power plants of 5 kilowatts, 10 kilowatts, 50 kilowatts and 100 kilowatts capacity in Haryana. Mr. Rauli told the Chief Minister that a 5 kilowatts capacity wind power plant costs Rs.4 lakh to 5 lakh.

Welcoming the proposal for setting up wind power projects, Mr. Hooda assured the delegation of all possible help in setting up these projects in Haryana.
