BHubaneswar: East Coast Railway (is running two pairs of special express trains between Puri and Howrah to clear the Diwali rush.

The first pair of special trains (0888/0887) Puri-Howrah-Puri will leave Puri on October 23 and 30 (Thursdays) and in the return direction, this train will leave Howrah on October 24 and 31 (Fridays).

This train will run with a composition of one composite coach of both air conditioner-2 tier and air-conditioner-3 tier, one air -conditioner-3 tier coach, nine sleeper coaches, four general second class and two general second class-cum-luggage vans.

The second pair of special trains (0810/0809) will leave Puri on October 21 and 28 (Tuesdays) and in the return direction, from Howrah on October 22 and 29 (Wednesdays).

This train will run with one air-conditioner-2 tier, two air-conditioner-3 tier, nine sleeper, six general second class coaches and two general second class-cum-luggage vans.

Both the Diwali special trains will leave Puri at 10 p.m. and arrive at Howrah at 07.05 a.m. on the next day. Similarly in the return journey, the trains will leave Howrah at 08.55 p.m and arrive at Puri at 05.50 a.m on the next day.

Stoppages

The trains will have stoppages at Sakhigopal, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Balasore and Kharagpur.
