Ujjain: The Crime Investigation Department of the Madhya Pradesh Police has sought details of immovable properties of four absconding Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) leaders wanted in the Prof H.S. Sabharwal murder case here.

The CID has sought details of the properties owned by the absconding leaders -- Hemant Dube, Sudhir Yadav, Pankaj Mishra and Vishal Rajoria -- named as accused in the murder.

The information was sought on Friday by the District Collector and Building Permission Officer of the Ujjain Municipal Corporation, official sources said.

Among the absconding leaders, Hemant Dube and Sudhir Yadav were on bail after their arrest earlier on charges of rioting.

The CID, which was entrusted with the probe by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, had already arrested two prominent ABVP leaders on murder charge. ABVP state president Shashi Ranjan Singh Akela and organising secretary Vimal Tomar are on judicial remand till Sept. 29. A total of 37 people, including nine of ABVP, had been arrested so far. UNI
