JAIPUR: The Rajasthan Government’s Education Department has initiated the process for setting up two model schools in each district of the State during the current academic year which started on Wednesday.
State Education Minister Bhanwarlal Meghwal said at Sukhpuria village near here that the State Government would open a model school in each panchayat samiti area during the next five years if land measuring five acres was made available for the building and appurtenances.
Mr. Meghwal called upon the people to take part actively in the “Shala Praveshotsava” (school admission) programme by sending their children to schools. He pointed out that free educational material had been arranged for students in 4,710 government schools to encourage them to study.
The Minister said the Praveshotsava programme would lay emphasis on linking all out-of-school children and dropouts with the school education system.
