JAIPUR: The Rajasthan State Medicinal Plants Board on Wednesday decided to appoint a committee in each district, headed by the Deputy Conservator of Forests, for promoting the farming of medicinal and aromatic plants and augmenting their use in the preparation of Ayurvedic and herbal medicines. The Board, at its general body meeting, also put forward a proposal to develop herbal gardens on the vacant plots of schools, colleges, universities, Agriculture and Ayurveda Departments.
