BERHAMPUR: Director General of Army Air Defence Lt. Gen. K.S. Dogra is now on a visit to the Army Air Defence College (AADC), Gopalpur.
This three-day visit, which would end on Wednesday would be his last visit to this center as he is going retire from services on November 30.
It was his farewell visit and the AADC bid adieu to its Director General on his coming retirement.
On Tuesday Lt. Gen. Dogra took part in a wreath laying ceremony at the air defence war memorial. Commandant of the AADC Maj. Gen. V.K. Saxena was also present and he laid the wreath on behalf of the AADC at the war memorial. Later Lt. Gen. Dogra took part in a special ‘Sainik Sammelan’, which was attended by personnel of all ranks of the AADC.
There he described the AADC as a pride of Indian army and urged the personnel to keep up the name and fame of this major air defence college of the country.
He during his long career in the army had many prestigious appointments like military secretary to President of India before taking over as the Director General of Army Air Defence.
During his last visit to the AADC his wife Ravindra Dogra also held special meeting with the family members of all ranks of this military base.
