For creating confusion during budget

Puducherry: Legislators of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) A. Anbalagan, Ohm Sakthi Sekar and M.V. Omalingam were evicted from the Assembly on Wednesday when they rushed towards the podium to make critical remarks against the Government. Chief Minister N. Rangasamy was going ahead with the budget presentation for the fiscal 2007-2008 unmindful of the noisy scenes on the floor from the AIADMK members. As soon as the House resumed its sitting on the second day of the budget session, the three AIADMK legislators started making vociferous comments on the Government. They were holding placards in their hands, which contained handwritten slogans. Speaker R. Radhakrishnan asked the watch and ward staff to remove them.

The lone Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam member P.R. Siva staged a walkout and he later told The Hindu that his protest was against the "failure of the Government" to implement all that was promised in the past. A few minutes later the three Puducherry Munnetra Congress members K. Lakshminarayanan, N. Anandhu and V.K. Ganapathy came to the House and after registering their protest, they also staged a walkout. Inspite of these protests from the opposition, the Chief Minister went ahead with the budget presentation.
