BERHAMPUR: The second Orissa Battalion of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and State Adventure Club organised a four day long adventure festival at Phulbani, which concluded on Tuesday. During the adventure camp, the participants took part in various adventure activities. Most popular activity among the participants was para-sailing. The other events that were part of this adventure camp included archery, rifle shooting, roller skating, rock climbing, trekking and aquatic sport. Some 125 NCC cadets and civilians participated in this camp. Secretary of the State Adventure Club D.K. Rath and his team of instructors imparted training to the participants. The participants took out a rally to create awareness about adventure sports. Commanding officer of the battalion Lt Col Surendranath attended the valedictory.
