Chandigarh: In a major reshuffle in the Punjab Police, 35 IPS officers, including State Vigilance Chief A. P. Pandey, were transferred with immediate effect, an official spokesman said here.

Mr. Pandey has been posted as ADGP Administration while Izhar Alam takes his place.

Mohammed Mustafa, IG Training, has been posted as IG, Border Zone (Gurdaspur and Amritsar Revenue Districts).

Hardeep Dhillon, IG Jalandhar Zone, becomes IG Jalandhar Zone.

Rajpal Meena, IG Lokpal, has been transferred as IG Railways in addition to his present duties.

Ishwar Chander, DIG Vigilance Bureau, Jalandhar Zone, goes to DIG Ferozepur range vice Iqbal Preet Singh Sahota.

Iqbal Preet Singh Sahota, DIG Ferozepur Range, has been posted as DIG Border range, vice Hardish Singh Randhawa.

Hardeish Singh Randhawa becomes DIG Patiala Range, against existing vacancy.

R. P. Mitta has been posted as DIG/Admn, IRB Patiala against existing vacancy.
