Lodhi Colony

Nitin Sharma told the police that on his way home he had stopped midway in Lodhi Colony to relieve himself when four persons approached him requesting for a lift. Since two of them had already sat in the car, he hesitatingly allowed the others to come along.

“He said that near Sarai Kale Khan, the four forced him to take a turn towards Gurgaon where they opened fire at him. He sustained a bullet injury in the leg. The robbers drove away after dumping him in Gurgaon. Subsequently we received a call about the incident from our counterparts in Haryana. Based on the findings, we have registered a case and taken up investigations. The vehicle was later found abandoned,” said a police officer.
